Today I finally listened to Green Day's new record. And I gotta say .. it's good. But to be honest .. I expected something better. Well .. I heard it once - So my opinion will probably change after listening to it again&again. At first I was like .. damn, this is pretty American Idiot. Anyway, I was thinking of going to one of their concerts here in Berlin .. but 50€ is way too much (last tour about 5€). And they are playing in such a big arena .. and I don't like big arenas. ._.

yeah, the more I listen to it, the more it sounds like everything else they've done, the guitar tones, the interludes, even some of the vocal melodies. and instead of st. jimmy they added gloria. It has its moments of greatness, but I was hoping for more. maybe if they had just concentrated on 12 GREAT songs instead of 4 GREAT songs and 14 ok ones, it would have been bettter
and I think they took a bit from Deryck with adding piano, higher vocals and some lyrics sounded familiar.
like I said, its good, but not great, Sum41 is still #1 in my book, thats beating Blink too
