Home Studio
My home studio has become the main center for all the Team Big Evil productions, we mainly use:
-Dual 2.5 Ghz Powermac G5 with 5 Gigs of Ram
-Pro Tools HD 3 Accel (every plugin ever made, I swear)
-Neve 1084s, Quad Eight CA-227s
-UREI 1176LN, UA LA2A,
-Stereo Pair of Distressor EL8X
-Stereo Pair of Summit EQF-100 Tube EQs
-All kinds of mics-(Shure SM-7 is my main guy, but I use the SM57, Sennheiser 421, AKG 414, Neumann TLM 103, Soundelux Elux 251, etc)
-Waves GTR system, Line 6 Pod XT Pro, all kinds of amps(Divided by 13, Mesa, Marshall, Fender)
On the road with Avril most of the stuff I was doing for her live show was initially based on a powerbook running a Digidesign 002 Rack and pro tools LE software. We'd record straight from the board during the mall tour and it was more than fine. I was doing a lot of demoing and editing on my powerbook and Mbox and I've since upgraded that rig to a Macbook Pro with a Mbox 2 Pro.
